As the title suggests, we can perform the shutdown command on a computer or laptop with just one button. Normal way that we often do is to click [start]> [shut down]> prompt shutdown> [OK]. Of course this way and require a longer time, that if we are in a hurry of course this is less practical and efficient. Not to mention that there are many programs that are still open, which requires the process to close the first. Of course this is very complicated.
To be able to do this trick, which is doing shutdown with just one tap, the first thing done is to slightly change the registry editor. (Please read carefully and sequentially)
Sign in regedit then go directly to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ ControlSet001 \ Control.
Double click [WaitToKillServiceTimeOut], and change the value data to 20 (or up to you, the less meaning the faster). This means that within 20 milliseconds no response, then the program will be turned off by force. and click OK
So that after a period of 20 milliseconds does not appear to ask for confirmation that we save the file or save the file first, then you can do is go into HKEY__USERS \ DEFAULT \ ControlPanel \ Desktop. The right side of search [AutoEndTasks] Change the Value data to 1, if not there could be made by right click> [new]> [StringValue]> name it "AutoEndTasks"> insert the value of the data value with the number "1". By enabling this AutoEndTasks means the program will be turned off by force, without confirmation first. Automatically when the file is still open yet shobat keep (save), then the file will not be saved. It is recommended that all files in the save shobat open first before doing this trick. But if it does not open files to be saved, not be a problem.
Close the registry and restart.
After phase one is complete, we do settings in power options
Open [Control Panel]> [Hardware and Sound].
In "Power Options", select the menu underneath that reads "Change what the power buttons do"
In the window that appears, set the options on the "When I press the power button" with a choice of shutdown.
On the laptop there is the option "When I close the lid" option set to shutdown. It is intended, even though windows is on, if the laptop is closed, then the windows will automatically shutdown by itself. Well yes ... .!!!!
Click on save changes.
To use it, if we press the power button (on the laptop and the keyboard) then windows will shutdown itself. Or if we shut down the laptop, then the windows will also be shutdown.
